Stay Refreshed! The Wrap-Up Post

(This post is part of my Refresh Your Craft & Soul Blog Event – see the beginning HERE!)

Wow, it’s the end of the weekend. Do you feel refreshed? I hope so!

If you want to check you haven’t missed anything, check out the REFRESH YOUR CRAFT page which has a list of links to all of the posts this weekend, including separate lists for the Giveaways {NOW CLOSED} and Challenges! After all you wouldn’t want to miss a chance to win one of these prizes:

Refresh Your Craft and Soul Prizes at Jennifer Grace Creates

Lots of lovely goodies there!

Have you enjoyed the event? I’ve loved reading all your comments, thank you so much for stopping by and sharing what you think!

If you have enjoyed the event, I’d be really grateful if you can pin or share the projects you like. And make sure you are signed up to my ‘News’ emails (aweber form in sidebar) and then you’ll be the first to hear about the next event (I’ll probably be back with Frosty Festivities again in November!). News emails are rarely sent out – normally only when I have a giveaway or an event approaching, so you won’t be bombarded with mail!

If you have any questions or suggestions about how these events are run, then don’t hesitate to contact me at jennifergrace(at)hotmail(dot)co(dot)uk!

Before I leave you completely I’ve one last card to share… I was trying to make a beach-themed male birthday card:

Beach Hut Card by Jennifer Grace

I think I almost pulled it off, but I wish I’d used a less twiddly stamp for the sentiment. I don’t like making male cards, they are so much harder!

The star-type shape on the background is a chipboard piece that I heat embossed and tipped gold glitter onto while I was heating the powder, I’m going to be doing that again experimenting with other colours!

Be Inspired:

Make a male beach-themed project

Refresh a chipboard shape with heat embossing

Use a dark base with refreshing colours on top

Remember that commenting on this post, and any other over this weekend, will count as another entry into the Grand Giveaway, but only if you’ve registered your interest in winning that prize right HERE! {NOW CLOSED}

That’s it! The giveaway winners will be announced on Thursday the 12th of June, so check back to see if you’ve won!

Stay refreshed,

Jennifer x

Great card. I agree- masculine cards can be tough and unfortunately, that seems to be the bulk of what I make. Great event this weekend- thank you so much!!

Yes!!! I’m in love with this event. I hope you do more in the future. To be honest, the giveaways are only a bonus, because the information I gained from your posts are a giveaway in itself. 😀

I love your ideas and hope you keep them coming :3

  • Morning – I’m back to catch up – and see what you’ve been doing – looks like it was brilliant and I’m glad that there’s a decent deadline to add our projects as I was internet-connection-less this weekend at the annual crop sleepover!
Fab card – but agree, a plainer sentiment might have manned it up a little.

I love your card! The nautical theme is a favorite of mine. I always seem to struggle with male cards. Most designs I come up with still look to feminine. I love the way you made this card look beautiful without looking too feminine. I’ve loved this event! I’ve never seen anybody do anything like it before and it really was a blast to see all your projects and you are so generous to offer so many prizes as well. I have been left with so much inspiration!
