Scrapbook Layout With Spray-Painted Embellishments!
Yesterday I showed you how to Renew Your Embellishments With Spray Paint. Today I’m sharing a layout I made using some of my updated embellies!
Smile – Life Is Grand
This photo is from a birthday party my friends threw for me a couple of years ago… a Harry Potter party in case you can’t tell! I went as Professor McGonagall, but there was also Hermione, Harry Potter, Hagrid, Dobby, Luna Lovegood, Dumbledore (not in this photo) and a young Slytherin!
I couldn’t wait to use the gold owl, and I figured it would work well on this page:
The ‘Life Is Grand’ is from a set of Kelly Purkey Digital Files called ‘Hello World’ (HERE).
I made this quick video to show how you can change the colour of PNG files quickly in PicMonkey (for free):
The ‘Hip Hip Hooray’ and the small stamped party hat on my page are from an old Sweet Stamp Shop set.
This gold arrow makes a great impact on the page:
I am so pleased with how the spray-painted embellishments look. Because they were just a couple of colours it made it really quick and easy to put the page together – I didn’t have to root through my stash for co-ordinating items.
I might need to re-store all my embellishments in colour order now instead of by type (at the moment stickers are with stickers, brads with brads, etc)… one day I might have time to sort them all out! Do you store your embellishments by colour or by type?
I hope you have a wonderful Easter Weekend! I will be posting my second vlog on my YouTube channel over the weekend, so make sure you are subscribed to that. I’ll be back here on Monday!
