My May Counterfeit Kit Blog Hop Reveal!

Hello! Sorry I haven’t shared my Hen Party photos yet, we had an awesome time, but it was tiring too! I haven’t caught up with my sleep yet, as I came home to both children feeling under the weather and waking us up lots at night. I shall share Hen Party pics soon!

Today it’s time for the Countefeit Kit Challenge Blog’s Reveal for May. We’re hopping along, so you should have reached me via Jemma at Just JimJams, and I shall send you onwards at the end of this post. If you aren’t sure what the Counterfeit Kit Blog is, then head HERE now to read all about it!

This month we are counterfeiting a couple of fabulous kits at Polly Scraps – the nautical Shoreline and the boy-themed Totally Rad. Can you guess which one I decided to Counterfeit? Shoreline of course – I live near the beach and I love the sea (hands up if you knew that?!)

Here’s my kit for May:

I’ve created quite a small kit (by my standards) for this month. That’s because I still have some of my March and April kits left to play with, and I know I’m going to be busy in May – for starters there’s my big weekend blog event ‘Onwards and Upwards’ which will be taking up a lot of my time (there’s still 5 days left to enter the announcement giveaway).

So I decided to keep it simple and not add to much. Also a lot of the bits are newer stash, though I did pull a few older items to try and use up!

Here’s my Papers:

12×12 Papers: A decorated piece of Papermania Kraft Cardstock, Crate Paper Random ‘Pattern’, DIY Shop ‘Design’, and Maggie Holmes ‘Happy Day’, DCWV Once Upon a Time ‘Mermaid Lagoon’.

6×6 Papers: All Glitz Designs Uncharted Waters.

Here’s my Alphas and Embellishments:

These items were handmade/decorated:

Check back tomorrow for more details / tutorials on those!

What do you think of my kit? Is it suitably nautical like the Shoreline Kit?!!

Now you need to hop on to Julie at His Glory Girl to see what kit she has lined up for this month!

What a stunner. And if this is a small kit, I can’t imagine what a big kit looks like – giggle! Gorgeous and what a lovely mix of papers. I hope to see some wonderful seaside pages from this. That is one of the things I miss the most about not living in the UK any more . the British seaside 🙁
The German and Dutch coasts are really beautiful and lovely but they just don’t quite hit the mark and there’s not a knickerbockerglory to be seen.

Being a landlocked prairie girl myself, I find the sea theme daunting. You’ve made a cute kit here and I am truly looking forward to seeing your layouts, from it.

  • I love your kit! I loved your kit last month too. I am thinking of creating my own kit (for the first time!) this month. I don’t really have any nautical-themed things, but I’ll figure something out.
