Frosty Festivities 2014 Free Blog Event at Jennifer Grace Creates

Frosty Festivities 2014 Announcement and Giveaway!

Today I’m here to share news about my next big (and totally free) blog event, Frosty Festivities 2014!

Mark your calendars for November the 7th – 9th, and read on for a chance to win a jolly holiday themed Smash Book!

Frosty Festivities 2014 Free Blog Event at Jennifer Grace Creates

Whoop! I love this time of year, when I’m elbow deep in crafty projects to prepare for my next event!

If you’re new to my Frosty Festivities event you should be prepared for lots of Winter and Christmas crafty inspiration (including scrapbook layouts, cards, gifts, decor, and more), plus giveaways and challenge prompts (lots of prizes), with posts going live every hour!

For regular event attendees you should know this time a few things will be changing…

THINGS THAT ARE DIFFERENT FOR THIS EVENT:

The Grand Giveaway will now be The Challenge Prize – there will be just one Challenge post to link up to, you’ll be able to use any of the ‘be inspired’ ideas for your projects, and enter as many times as you like! One challenge winner  drawn at random will get the Grand Prize, and there will be another prize from me for a project that catches my eye. I’m hoping you’ll all join in lots! The challenge linky will stay open until Monday the 17th of November.

There will be no Blog Hop. While I love the blog hops they take a long time for me to arrange and I didn’t have the time right now. Instead I’ve asked three fabulous friends to be GUEST DESIGNERS with a blog post each during the weekend, so you will have some inspiration from someone other than me. They’ll be using some Happy Scatter items so I can’t wait to see their finished projects!

The times are going to change slightly so I can go to bed a bit earlier! Posts will now go live from 4pm-8pm Friday, and 10am-8pm Saturday and Sunday.

THERE WILL STILL BE:

Lots of comment-to-win giveaways from me and sponsors, tons of inspiration for a variety of crafty projects, and a host of ‘be inspired’ prompts!

Let’s kick things off with a giveaway right now! Want a chance to win this:

Smash-Book-Folio-Holiday-limited-Edition

A limited-edition holiday-themed Smash Book, perfect for a December Daily or JYC project, or just to record those memories after Christmas is finished!

Please note: To enter this giveaway you must click on the Rafflecopter Widget below. Just leaving a blog comment (telling me whether you make handmade gifts to give as Christmas presents) won’t enter you – you need to then click on rafflecopter to say you’ve commented. Then you can also complete other options, like sharing this post on Facebook or Pinterest, for more entries! Of course you can also comment and share without entering the giveaway if you wish.

One winner will be chosen at random from all entries. The giveaway closes on Thursday the 6th of November at 12am GMT. The winner will be announced here later that day.

Thanks for reading. I hope you’re excited about the next event!

There will also be another ‘guess the project’ contest on the Jennifer Grace Creates Events Chat group in the week leading up to the event, with a prize for the most correct guesses, so make sure you join the group if you want to have even more fun!

Tell me, do you make handmade gifts to give as Christmas presents?

I always make our cards and usually one or two gifts we give are something I’ve made. I used to give my mom a craft store giftcard but as she moves further down the dementia path, she’s not able to craft any longer so I definitely give her a handmade item.

I cannot WAIT! You are so awesome! I love to make lots of things for Christmas. Both paper crafting and otherwise. ( I adore doing felt, but Isabel is too big for those anymore.) I have been working on some cross stitch things this year that are almost done. I can’t wait!

    November 1, 2014 at 2:34 pm
  • No I don’t make handmade Christmas gifts. I do occasionally make handmade gifts for no particular reason or event – I am spontaneous like that (read that as – a poor planner.)

    November 3, 2014 at 1:12 am
  • I usually do make baked goods for family and friends.
