Elle’s Studio Serendipity – PaperHaus Projects

Hello! I’m here to show you another couple of summery projects that were featured in the PaperHaus Magazine Summer Issue. These both use the Serendipity collection by Elle’s Studio which was sublime to work with, because it’s so very summery and breezy!

A Rosette Paper Fan:

I made this fan to keep me cool this summer. It’s basically a giant rosette (approx 8″ wide) with chipboard handles, but it can be folded shut for storage. I haven’t used this as much as I’d like to… because a certain Little Miss has claimed it as her own! If you want to check out the tutorial for this, it’s on page 55 of the Magazine.

‘Make a Wish’ Card:

Make a Wish card by Jennifer Grace

I had fun making a scene for this card. For the flag I added some beads to wire, using Glossy Accents to adhere them (and the pennants). I fussy cut a flower from the ‘Flowers’ paper to make into a ‘sun’ with more beads in the centre, and I used another strip of that paper along the bottom, cut with fringing scissors to look like fluttery grass!

Do these projects make you feel nice and summery? They make me want to go for a picnic right now!

Have a great day, Jennifer x

Super projects…the fan is perfect for all the warm weather and I love the card, especially the stitching.

  • Aww, that paper fan is absolutely adorable! I love the whimsical touch the ribbon on the end gives (while also being functional – bonus!)
