Egg Hunt – Counterfeit Kit Layout
I’ve realised I need to show you the last projects I made with my May Counterfeit Kit. It was a quick layout and a card (please note that names have been blocked on the journaling):
I started the layout in response to the 3,2,1 challenge to use 3 embellishments, 2 pieces of patterned paper, and one photo, but I couldn’t stick to just 3 embellishments! There are less on this layout than I usually have though, and I managed not to scatter any gems on this one, which is hard for me at the moment! As I had wandered away from the challenge, I decided to add a bit of fabric, as that was another challenge of the month, so there’s a thin strip of fabric below my journaling.
I’m glad this kit has pushed me to use these heart pins which have sat in my stash for ages:
They add a lovely finishing touch.
I made another card to use up a couple more items. It’s a summery birthday card:
I love the floral Crate Paper Random Paper, I got a 12×12 sheet of this on sale the other day so you can expect it to appear on a layout sometime soon!
I also want to say a quick thanks to Crece, as I won this lovely prize on her blog during the NSD Scrap Kitchen Blog Hop:
I’m loving the tickets and the Kaisercraft Stamps! Thanks Crece!
I have also been lucky enough to win a spot on Amy Heller’s Through the Kaleidoscope class at Two Peas in a Bucket, and have been working on some projects for that, so I’ll upload some of those soon!
(P.S. I know I seem to win a lot of giveaways, but I do enter A LOT that I don’t win too! Just in case you’re wondering why I’m so lucky! And remember, I’m planning to give back to you all, by offering lots of giveaways and prizes on here over my Organisation Celebration event!)
I hope your day is not filled with as much torrential rain – soaks through to your bones – wet weather as we have here! x
