Beach Babes – A Counterfeit Kit Layout

Hello! I have been having some more fun with my May Counterfeit Kit!

But before I show you my latest layout, I also want to remind you that applications to be on the Counterfeit Kit Design Team are due by the 30th of May!

Framed-Master-Forger-Teal

I have totally loved my time on the team. It really helps me dig through my stash, and the ladies are a lovely community to chat to and share ideas with. So if you think you’d like to be on the team check out all the application details HERE!

Here’s my latest page, showing a photo of my sister and my daughter, sitting on a beach as the sun was setting, a few years ago on holiday.

Beach Babes:

I used some Glitz Uncharted Waters items (the tape, journal card, 2 papers from the 6×6 pad), with some classy black & white paper (Crate Paper DIY Shop ‘Design’) and some American Crafts Aqua Glitter Tape – whenever I scrap a page with my sister on I feel it needs to be a bit glamorous like she is!

The punched shape was a negative cut from when I made my Halong Bay layout – this is the flip side of the paper. I lined it with white paper and put a wood veneer camera (heat embossed with black ink and clear powder) in the centre:

I added the little stars to these sunglasses to continue the glamour:

Writing on this journal card made me realise I need a new white pen, it’s totally running out! I had to go over some of the words twice!

I still have a couple more projects to share from my May kit, but I’ll save them for another day.

June will be my last month on the Counterfeit Kit DT, but it’s going to be a good one! As well as the usual kit reveal hop, there will also be a sponsor Blog Hop on the 12th – Little Blue Button stamps is going to be sponsoring the month of June!

Bloghopjune

It’s going to be lots of fun!

With so many summery scrappy things going on lately, I really wish the weather would warm up too. Come on sunshine! x

P.S. The winners of the Onwards and Upwards challenges will be announced on Thursday 23rd of May!
