A Giveaway! Sponsored by Little Dorrit & Co! {NOW CLOSED}

(This post is part of my Frosty Festivities 2015 Blog Event – see a list of all the posts HERE)

It’s time for the next sponsored giveaway {NOW CLOSED} from a wonderful Etsy shop…

A Giveaway! Sponsored by Little Dorrit & Co!

Little Dorrit & Co is a shop selling embroidery patterns, and it’s run by a mother & daughter team – Chris & Julie. The designs stood out to me because most of them are inspired by stories and writers including Dickens, Austen, and Shakespeare. As I have always been a book lover (I studied English & Creative Writing at University, while I studied at Uni I also worked part time at the Jane Austen Center in Bath, and I’m now a school librarian!) these amazing creations really spoke to my heart and mind!

All the images are so unique and full of special details!

Here are a few that are particularly suited to the Frosty Festivities theme…

1. The Gingerbread Man PDF Pattern – I love baking gingerbread at Christmas, and we usually end up making a gingerbread family to look like ourselves! Plus this design is so cheerful and bright, it would look magical hanging on any wall or perhaps embroidered on to a Christmas cushion:

2. The Ghost Of Christmas Yet To Come PDF Pattern – This image is so striking and contemporary. I love the moon and the stars in the background. This would be a fantastic thing to embroidery for someone who doesn’t like too much ‘santa and sweetness’ at Christmas time. Or stitch it for yourself as a reminder of the lesson Scrooge learnt on Christmas eve:

3. The Little Elves PDF Pattern – How cute is this?! We are going to be doing the ‘Elf On The Shelf’ for the first time this year, so this picture of 2 little elves really caught my eye! I could imagine using the wreath around the outside on it’s own for other projects too:

Aren’t they all full of gorgeous details?!

Now for the giveaway…

A Giveaway! Sponsored by Little Dorrit & Co!

One winner will receive 2 PDF patterns from Little Dorrit & Co – ‘The Ghost Of Christmas Yet To Come’ and ‘The Gingerbread Man’ so whether you prefer bold and slightly scary, or cute and sugary, you’ll be covered either way!

To enter the giveaway {NOW CLOSED}: Just pop over to the Little Dorrit & Co. Etsy Shop, take a look around, and come back here to leave a comment, telling me about an item or two that caught your eye (it doesn’t need to be Christmas or Winter related, just anything you like).

You could also pop by Little Dorrit & Co’s blog and social media pages. It’s not compulsory to visit these to enter the prize, but obviously Chris & Julie would love it if you stopped by. Make sure you tell her ‘thanks’ for sponsoring a giveaway prize! Here are the links:

  • My choice of pattern is the Musicians of Bremen – I’d forgotten this story until I saw the embroidery, but it was once a favourite. I love the two ghosts of Christmas too. Thanks for the chance to win the patterns!
